New Beetles with four cylinder engines have a weakness in the engine mount system that can show itself in a decent collision or after a timing belt change. There is a little cast iron ear on the engine block which is behind the timing belt that can break if the engine mount bolts are not torqued correctly after a timing belt change. We have a reasonably priced repair bracket for the broken ear to save you the cost of replacing your engine. These brackets have saved more than a thousand engines over the past several years!
